Obituary

Christopher David Bird was born on August 23, 1983 in Payson, Utah.

Chris ended his journey here on earth to a long hard battle against Leukemia. We will not say he lost this battle. He fought like a brave, strong soldier with everything he had, Cancer never beat his spirit.

In his last moments he still made everyone around him laugh. He enjoyed taunting and teasing everyone around him. He constantly made his Doctors and Nurses laugh and joke with him. He even inspired one of his nurses to the realization of life being short that she proposed to her love.

Chris won this war in spirit and laughter until his last day. Chris loved his children with all his heart and soul. Also, his soul mate Tresa Collings. They were married in heart & soul.

Chris loved music and especially promoting for Strange Music. He also loved guns, knives, the outdoors, the Raiders and his sister’s Chicken Tortilla Soup.

Chris was preceded in death by his Mother Sandra Lee Bird and Survived by his Father David Vernon Bird, siblings Mark Birchette, Sister Deana Felt, Brother Michael Birchett and Sister Elizabeth Bird, and his two beautiful children Daughter Anika Rose Bird and Son Jayden Christopher Bird.

Chris would like anyone who wants to join us in celebrating his life on Thursday, May 20, 2021, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 East 800 North, Orem.

This one should put a smile on anyone's face. I see you trying not to smile. I didn't know I had to post a comment with each picture. "LIFE GOES ON"

Lil' Chris, what I 'd do to make peace with you before you had to go. You've been in my thoughts daily, I sent my love & respect w/ your dad. I found out that you passed a day too late. And I cried for hours if not days when I got the news. I still shed a tear when I think about you. I'm sorry I broke that bond/trust when I confided in your Dad. But I wasn't comfortable with the way life was going , and I couldn't sit back and let the black take you away from all of us then, you led an amazing life and raised some Amazing Children. So if my sacrifice was our friendship so be it. I found some old pictures of you chilling in my basement, I believe you have all the 2Pac pictures & action figure that I had on my walls. I gave them to you one by one over the years for your birthday. Then look what you did with Strange Music and Tech 9. Amazing... I Love You Bro, And I'll See You On The Other Side. Tell Your Mom & My Dad I Said Hello And That I Send My Love.

Sure doesn't let you say much. Chris loved life, family and his friends. He was my best friend not just my brother. My confidant. We shared many great times together. I know my mom and my son, his nephew Brice were there to welcome him. Chris and Brice were very close until my son's passing. I love you Chris and my whole family. I will see you on the morrow. 💯❤🙏
