Don De St. Jeor, 64, of Orem, Utah, peacefully passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 surrounded by family after a short illness. He was born April 9, 1956 in Orem, Utah to Merlin De St. Jeor and Lyle Lydia Menlove.

Don had a great love of the mountains and outdoors which he gained camping & fishing with his family throughout his early years. Don was an accomplished mechanic of old tractors and could fix anything with a gas motor. He also had a talent for body and paintwork.

Don enjoyed puttering in his flower garden, a talent that he had honed while pulling weeds when he had gotten in trouble with Mom. He also enjoyed crochet and made a few afghans. This he learned while he was caring for his Aunt Elaine.

Don was a loving caretaker of his grandmother and parents as well. He had deep love and compassion for all kids and animals and always had a sidekick with him. He was a wonderful uncle and enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews. Especially giving them rides on one of his many tractors.

Don was kind, generous and the ultimate storyteller. He remembered everything and everyone and loved to chat and catch you up on what was going on and reminisce with anyone who stopped by.

Don and his best friend and brother Ivan enjoyed many years traveling around the state showing their antique chainsaw and woodcutting collection as members of the Antique Tractor & Machinery Association and won many awards for their display.

Don was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved his Savior. Don is survived by his brothers and sisters Boyd (Cheryl) De St. Jeor, Ivan De St. Jeor, Barbara (Gene) Hendrix, Lila Rawlings, Calvin (Tamara) De St. Jeor and many nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his parents.

Graveside Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Provo City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a memorial fund to assist the family with final expenses. Donations can be made at any Alpine Credit Union under Don DeStJeor.

The family would like to thank those from Utah Valley Medical Center and dear lifelong friends and neighbors who cared for our brother.

So very sorry to hear about Don. I have great memories from being his neighbor for several years. He truly was one of the kindest and most humble people that I have known. I know how much he loved his family. My condolences to all of you.
