LuDeane Hansen Bjarnson, 91, of Orem, passed away June 3, 2020 peacefully in her home. She was born September 6, 1928 in Provo, Utah to Eldon W. and Ruby Ludlow Hansen. She married the love of her life, Max Frank Bjarnson on October 4, 1947 in Elko, Nevada; their marriage was later solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple in 2008.

LuDeane cherished her time with family and will be missed dearly by those she loved. For many years, LuDeane worked in retail sales at Sears and Z.C.M.I. She enjoyed bowling, playing bridge with her friends, and watching every sport her kids were involved in. In fact, she never missed one of her boy’s games. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many callings.

LuDeane was preceded in death by her daughter, Carla Jean; sister, Betty Jean Hansen; great-granddaughter, Kallie Nicole Jensen; and is now reunited with her husband after 7 years, Max Frank Bjarnson.

She is survived by 3 sons: Craig Bjarnson, Roger Bjarnson, and Alan Bjarnson; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 1 great great-grandchild. She is also survived by her siblings: Pete (Eileen) Evans of Springville and Jerry (Diane) Hansen of Payson.

Roger, Craig and Alan,
I just got in town and saw your mother passed away. She was a great example to all us. When we were growing up I think she was kind of like a second mom to me.
I am sure she will be missed.
I haven’t seen LuDeane since mom passed away but I did see her then and she looked very healthy. I did not know she was 91.
I am amazed how many original neighbors lived in the ol’ neighborhood for so long. That is pretty cool.
My condolences to you during this tough time. Our prayers are with you and your families.
We should stay in touch....

Craig, Roger, Alan, it's been years since I've seen you guys (though I have connected with Craig a couple time - he just lives a few blocks from me), but I just wanted to reach out and express my condolences. Your Mom was always kind of a second Mom to me and my brother Steve because, of course, your house was our second home, so this is hard to see. I wish I could have seen you all in person, but I didn't find out until too late. I have wonderful memories of all the good times we all spent together, all the craziness that went on with the neighborhood, the cars, the old Jeep, all that. It was a great neighborhood, and it won't be the same without LuDeane, but what a wonderful life she must have had, and what a wonderful reunion there was in heaven last week with your Dad and your sister. I'm sure sorry she's gone, guys. Take care.

LuDean and I sat together at church and had many great talks. We were visiting teacher partners for many years and enjoyed talking with the sisters. We kept each other informed about what was going on in the neighborhood. I will miss LuDean very much and I am glad she is with Max again. Sherena Morgan
